We are currently recruiting large mammal specialists to work at various locations. Positions will be from four to eight weeks between June and early August.
Large mammal specialist positions involve two separate potential skillsets needed; experience with camera tracking, and experience with tracks and signs. Some of our expeditions require both, others one or the other, so please specify in your application where your experience lies.
Applicants should have experience of working in the field with a biological undergraduate degree level or higher or equivalent experience. Experience of conducting similar work with large mammals would be ideal, but most important is a desire to learn and enthusiasm for conducting field work in remote locations.
In return, successful applicants receive full accommodation and food onsite, current and future research opportunities, networking and skills development, flight bursaries for more experienced candidates, and of course the opportunity to contribute towards long-term conservation efforts.
