The position will involve giving a series of ecology and conservation based lectures to school students aged 16-18 at our field research stations. The successful applicant may also be required to give practicals in survey methodologies and techniques. Applicants should have experience of working in the field, be at least masters level in a biology based subject and have teaching experience.
Ideally the candidate will be a dive master, although this is not essential if they have enough relevant marine knowledge.
In return, successful applicants receive full accommodation and food onsite, potential current and future research opportunities, networking and skills development, flight bursaries for more experienced scientists, and of course the opportunity to contribute towards long-term conservation efforts.
